Yayoi Kusama and Pumpkin Lovin’

We recently visited a pumpkin by Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist who works with painting, environmental installation, sculptures, collages, all with an underlying theme of repetition, pattern and accumulation. Visiting the sculpture in Naoshima was a delight to the senses as it toys with one’s sense of scale and perception of light. We had great fun playing around while waiting for the ferry!
