Sneak preview of latest pieces for the Artisan Cherish Exhibition 2009!
I have been out of the scene for a while busy with life and the like… In the course of the past few seasons, I have tried very hard to update my smithing skills and refining design concepts. Attached are the fruits of labour – happily right on time for the spring season in beautiful Brisbane.
Noir Necklace is made up of two layers of intense saw-piercing work, the top piece can be rotated to delight the wearer. It can be worn as a long necklace or hung around one’s neck twice. I have also been experimenting with oxidising silver. Having been told before that everyone preferred their silver shiny, I am determined to refute this…! The Noir necklace is a sedate piece which is very much for those who love the precious yet understated aesthetics.
Noir Necklace - Detail
This is the silver version of the Noir necklace. The polished silver makes it a little more resplendent, and certainly dresses up an outfit.
I will continually be updating as more pieces emerge hot off the bench! Try to keep up! 😉
